If you want to succeed with your email marketing efforts you need to build a relationship with your list.
Do whatever it takes to let them know you are human. Share some experiences and events. For example, My Internet is down this week because my modem was struck by lightning. While this is really a problem for me, I have been able to get out my laptop and go to Starbucks and do my best to keep everyone updated.
You will be surprised how understanding your list can be if they know that you are human.
I am running low on battery power now so I will get back as soon as I can. Qwest says my new modem should be in on Tuesday
