This is a question you should be answering yes to. Why should you be building an email list? Simply put without an email list who are you going to market to.
You can’t depend on your search engine positioning to keep you afloat. I had one of my sites in the top ten on Google for over six months and then BAM! I could not even be found in the top 100 pages.
If I had spent half of my time building a list, I at least would have had some people to market to. I really don’t like spending money on PPC if I don’t have to.
