Creating A Headline That Sells

The most important part of a squeeze page is the headline. This is the first thing a visitor will see when arriving at your website. Here are some tips to help you create a headline that sells.

    1) Make your headline font red. The reason for red is that it captures your visitors attention and makes them focus on that headline.
    2) Make your font Tahoma. Tahoma is much easier to read than the other fonts. You should also make it large. 28px is pretty good starting point.
    3) Use a statement that makes your visitor curious about what they will learn by reading more. You can see an example of this by reading the headline at www.curestressandanxiety.com
    4) If at all possible, try to use some words that end in ly. Studies shaw that words that end in ly tend to drive up sales and opt-ins.

My next post I will discuss the sub-head and the above the fold area of your squeeze page.

I would appreciate any comments you may have below.

Keep Moving Forward!
