I started my first Internet Business with Herbalife back in 1998. Back then there were very few pages on Google for the keyword Herbalife Natural Products so it was easy to rank well. The down side back then was that Domain registration, Web Hosting, Shopping Cart and A SSL certificate were very expensive. I had given up after only 6 months.

In 2002 I tried my luck at making a living using the Internet once again. This time I tried my luck at EBay. Everyone was making a ton of money on EBay right? Wrong! I probably would have made more money had I sold my shirt on Ebay instead of losing it to them with all of the listing fee’s, selling fee’s percentages of sales, etc…

This was when I realized that there must be something I am missing. Other people are making a killing online right? I began a quest to learn the secrets to have a successful Internet Business. I spent three years researching every program that I could possibly find. Can you say Overwhelm? I still have some of these products on my backup hard drive and I never implemented anything I Read. I was much to busy reading everything to Implement. Let me tell you that you don’t make any money reading everything without taking action.

I came across a fairly new Internet Marketer who said something that made total sense to me. He said: “The Money is in the List!”. Click! The light bulb came on for me. I need a list! It made complete sense. Even if I had the very best product in the World, it would do me NO good without someone to market it to, right?

I wanted to learn from him. I wanted to know everything that he knows about list building, How to build a list, what to market to my list, how to market to my list and What do I say to my list? He had an awesome program but it was out of my price range at the time. I decided to follow him on the forums, blogs, his email list and teleseminars just trying to get every bit of free information I could get.

Finally in 2008 I found my chance to get in on his lower end program. At least it was a start.He ran a special for $1 for the first 30 days and then $97 a month after that. There was also bonus calls every week, $125,000 worth of bonuses, A chance to win a Ferrari for whoever built the biggest list and made the biggest impact and I also had the opportunity to learn from the best.

I was gung-ho to win! I started putting myself in front of him wherever I could. I did some research and found out his address. I sent him cards , I sent his staff treats like nuts, coffee, candy whatever I could to make an impression. I made crazy videos and put them on his blog. I answered everyones post giving them advice and also giving his company praise. It was working! He bagan to notice me. As his way of thanking me for my hard work he sent me a wallet with a gift card in it, and later on he sent me a Ferrari hooded sweatshirt, very nice. I got to know some of his staff and formed some great friendships.

Then came the news, I didn’t win the Ferrari. I did however make enough of an impression that he offered me a chance to handle his forum. My job was to answer questions and give list building advice and in return I would get all of his high end coaching products for free and I would have unlimited access to his team. I couldn’t very well turn that down now, could I.

I took advantage of all the help I could get! I mastered Teleseminars, Finding JV Partners, Article Marketing, Blogging, Social Media and Video Marketing. I have learned everything that I need to run a successful Business.
