By exerting some control over the content of the websites that are earning an income from placing Google ads on the sites, Google is also ensuring that the search results that they are returning when a word, term, or phrase is searched are the most valid search results available. Websites that are filled with non-words and spammed search terms are a frustrating problem for the search engines and the latest Google slap is an effort to fix the problem. When working with Google, you can make a nice income, as long as you are not trying to trick the system.

Some of the things Google doesn’t want to see on a landing page is a page with exit pops, pop ups that block content, a blatant sales page or even a page that makes no sense and is loaded with keyword spam.
